Kelvin Cochran was appointed as Administrator for the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s US Fire Administration in August 2009, following 28 years of experience from Firefighter to Fire Chief. He served as the Fire Chief for the City of Atlanta, GA and Shreveport, LA; President of the Metropolitan Fire Chiefs Association; 1st Vice President of the Interna1`re Chiefs; and Vice Chairman of Volunteers of America.
